Here Are A Couple of Quotes That Kept Us Going

Hi Guys!
As you all know (if you are following us on Twitter... @huhblog), Pete Canalichio (@PeteCanalichio) took our "Huh?!" Brand to the International Licensing Expo, where he made some very promising and exciting contacts. With any luck, "Huh?!" will soon find itself hanging in closets everywhere. After all the years of hard work we have put in between "Huh?!" Blog and "Huh?!" Brand, we are days away from a big breakthrough. We will keep you informed, and we thank all the people who have helped and supported us along the way.
It has not been easy. We have tried many paths, and have changed many tactics as we tried to launch "Huh?!" as a national brand. Thousands of dollars spent, many books read, a college degree earned, many pieces of art created, and countless sleepless nights. We know the meaning of sacrifice.
We've tried many different entrepreneurial pursuits along the way, but this time is different. This time, WE were different. We will explain more later, but here are a couple of quotes that explain our mindset and our unrelenting drive to make "Huh?!" work. We are close, and we will give you as many tools as we possibly can so that you can become the success that lives inside you as well. Thanks, and good luck.

He who is silent is forgotten; he who does not advance falls back; he who stops is overwhelmed; out distanced, crushed; he who ceases to grow becomes smaller; he who leaves off, gives up; the condition of standing still is the beginning of the end.
-Henri Frederic Amiel

No one ever attains very eminent success by simply doing what is required of him; it is the amount and excellence of what is over and above the required that determines the greatness of ultimate distinction.
Charles Kendall Adams

The great successful men of the world have used their imagination, they think ahead and create their mental picture in all its details, filling in here, adding a little there, altering this a bit and that a bit, but steadily building – steadily building.
Robert Collier

We Finally Did It... Now The Real Work Starts!

Hi Everyone!
Just a quick one this time. Tonight might be the last sleep that I get for a while, but right now, I FEEL GREAT! I have been a serial entrepreneur my whole life. I have always hated the idea of a 9-5, corporate, working-for-the-man type of existence. As such, I have tried almost as many things as Thomas Edison (to varying degrees of success). But THIS! This is AMAZING!
I have been totally driven to make "Huh?!" work. I have read everything that I could get my hands on, and I have gotten as much advice from successful people as I could. I even went back to college to get my business degree (3.8 G.P.A., Baby!). I have been more dedicated to making "Huh?!" work than I have been to anything in my life. And as it turns out, it has to be that way. Huh?! Blog and Huh?! Brand had a great time at the International Licensing Expo, and pretty soon, EVERYONE will be wearing our trademarked "Huh?!" clothing. Thanks to Pete and Priyanka, Professor Ben, and some great entrepreneurs whose books have been invaluable in keeping me on the right path (most recently, One Simple Idea by Licensing Guru Stephen Key and The Brand Within by Shark Tank host and FUBU founder Daymond John) .
In closing, I just want to say thanks for following Huh?! Blog (huhblog.com), and for allowing Huh?! into your home. This is just the beginning!

Are YOU Still Working On Your "Thing"?

Hi Everyone!
I know that it’s been a while since I’ve posted here on “Huh?!” Blog, but I have been working on positioning “Huh?!” Brand for the International Licensing Expo in Las Vegas (June 14-16). I have been working with my artist on new designs, getting sample shirts made, putting together my marketing plan, writing copy, designing our sell sheet, and working my day job. I am also reading two books (One Simple Idea by Licensing Guru Stephen Key and The Brand Within by Shark Tank denizen Daymond John, both great and USEFUL books). I even recently found Mark Cuban’s Blog Maverick (http://blogmaverick.com/ … Go Mavs!).
As you can already guess, I am flipping exhausted! I haven’t had a full night’s sleep in quite a while, but passion keeps me going. I have read  literally volumes of information, and I am finding strength in the fact that I have lots in common with these successful entrepreneurs: the drive to be my own man, to find a different way, to do whatever is necessary, and to do the best job that I possibly could at whatever I do. Reputation is everything: if you don’t have a reputation for excellence, you won’t be able to build and sustain the relationships you need to reach the heights to which you are driven to arrive.
Right now, “Huh?!” Blog and “Huh?!” Brand licensing agent Pete Canalichio is networking at the International Licensing Expo, trying to get us a deal with a cutting edge clothing manufacturer (or any other dynamic outlet for the Huh?! Brand).  Even now, I am scanning the web and following Twitter to get up to the moment updates which I can pass on to Pete so that I can let him know where the decision makers are (we are still trying to hook up with Daymond John, and several others).

I know that “Huh?!” is going to be huge. It is not just a feeling. I have consumed way too much information (how-to-and-who-did-what-when?) so that I could make the right decisions and hook up with the right people to make the “Huh?!” Brand a household name. Believe me, IT IS GOING TO HAPPEN! What I am telling you is the reason that “Huh?!” Blog came into existence: I wanted to share the information that I have discovered on my way to making “Huh?!” Brand work… so that you could more readily find your path, your raison d’ĂȘtre.

I don’t know what is going to happen over the next few days at the International Licensing Expo (I know Pete will give it his best shot), but I do know that “Huh?!” will find itself into a lot of closets, and magazines, and onto a lot of televisions. I encourage you to find your passion and make yours work for you. Life is too short not to find your “thing”. And we at “Huh?!” blog will continue to amass as much information and inspiration here to help you along your way. Thanks, good luck, and check back. You won’t be sorry...

Hank

PS… Check out Mark Cuban’s Blog Maverick. When he started talking about how he had a knack for combining information in ways that people hadn’t thought of before, I felt that I had found a kindred spirit. This is a special talent of mine, too. And "How I Made My Millions" is great as well.

Oh, and check out a closer look at the "Huh?!" sell sheet that I spent so much time on as well. Thanks! http://bit.ly/kHCEN7
